About

Lesley Fore is the founder of Griffin Street Strategies, a consulting practice dedicated to helping nonprofits, public agencies, and mission-driven businesses grow their impact through smart strategy, strong operations, and sustainable programs.

With more than 15 years of experience spanning federal agencies, nonprofits, and community-based initiatives, Lesley brings a rare blend of strategic insight and hands-on know-how. She has managed multimillion-dollar grant portfolios at the U.S. Department of Energy, designed and launched large-scale energy efficiency programs for utilities and nonprofits, and guided organizations through complex transitions to strengthen their long-term capacity.

As a former nonprofit executive director and senior manager, Lesley understands the challenges that organizations face—from securing funding to building resilient teams and systems. She has worked alongside boards, staff, and community partners to create programs that not only meet compliance standards but also deliver measurable results for people and communities.

Approachable, collaborative, and deeply committed to mission-driven work, Lesley is known for her ability to connect the dots between vision and implementation. Whether she’s helping a nonprofit streamline operations, supporting a city in advancing its climate goals, or guiding a team through a grant application, she brings clarity, energy, and a steady hand to the work.

A lifelong Virginian based in Richmond, Lesley has served on advisory boards and coalitions advancing energy efficiency, housing, and sustainability across the state.
